Who Runs This Website

McLean Emergency Leak Detection is a free referral service based in McLean, Virginia. We have been operating since 2016, and our office is at 1311 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA 22101.

Our job is simple: when a homeowner in McLean or a nearby area finds signs of a hidden water leak, we connect them with an independent local plumber who can find the leak and fix it.

The plumbers who take the jobs are independent businesses — they are not our employees, and we do not do the plumbing work ourselves. We serve McLean, Vienna, Falls Church, Great Falls, Arlington, Tysons Corner, Langley, and McLean Hamlet.

Most people who reach this page have just called us, or are about to call, and want to know what happens to the details they share on that call. The policy above is the full answer, written out section by section.

This note at the end of the page is only a guide to help you find the right section quickly — the policy text above is what applies.

How to Find What You Are Looking For

The policy is organised so you can go straight to the part that matters to you. "Information We Collect" lists the details we receive when you call or write to us. "How We Use Information" explains what those details are used for.

"Cookies and Tracking" covers the small files this website uses when you visit it. "Analytics and Third-Party Tools" covers the outside tools that help us understand how the site is used and how callers reach us.

"Data Sharing and Disclosure" explains the situations in which information is passed to someone else. "Data Retention" explains how long information is kept, and "Data Security" explains how it is protected while we hold it.

"User Rights" sets out the choices and rights you have over your information. "Children's Privacy" covers younger visitors. "Changes to This Policy" explains how updates to this page are handled and how you will know about them.

"Contact Information" gives the phone number and email address for anything about this policy.

Questions About This Policy

If anything in this policy is unclear, call us on (571) 749-1566 or write to leakdetectionmcleanva@gmail.com and ask. It helps if you tell us the phone number you called from and roughly when you called, so we can find your record quickly.

If your question is about a visit to your home, the independent plumber who is helping you can also pass your question on to us. We would rather you asked than guessed — a short call is usually enough to clear things up.
